CPT Brett Benedict is an instructor of American politics in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA).
He commissioned from USMA in 2016 as an infantry officer and later joined the special forces branch. He has operational experience in the Middle East and Africa.
Benedict holds a master’s degree in security studies from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing his doctorate in education at Vanderbilt University. His research interests include irregular warfare policy, resistance movement theory, and counterterrorism strategy.
