CPT Taylor A. Freitas

CPT Taylor Freitas is an instructor of international affairs in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy.

A California native, Taylor left the Central Valley to attend UCLA, graduating in 2017 before commissioning as a military intelligence officer through ROTC.

Taylor began his career with the 1st Armored Division, deploying in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. As a captain, he served as a detachment commander and later as the operations officer for the 312th Military Intelligence Battalion, 470th Military Intelligence Brigade.

Taylor subsequently earned his graduate degree from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, focusing on Spanish, security policy, and conflict resolution.
